After more than 20 years living and working in the Netherlands, my husband and I made the decision to return to Scotland. We came back for family, for the mountains, and for the sea.
Lighthouse Seventeen is the culmination of a career in service management and business operations, built around something I have always wanted: the opportunity to give direct, meaningful support to business founders. That is my work happy place.
Lighthouses have stood near the places where I have been happiest. They represent guidance, clarity, safety, perspective, and light. And 17 has appeared throughout my life in ways that still make me smile. Together, they define exactly where I am now.
My friends would describe me as fun, energetic, and usually the one making sure plans leave the group chat and actually happen. After beginning my career in IT, I moved to Amsterdam for what was supposed to be a one-year adventure. Twenty-one years later I had built a life there, become Dutch, and now proudly hold dual nationality.
My husband and I recently moved back to my family home by the sea in the Highlands. We share our life with two standard poodles, Roxy and Mara. Outside of work I spend time in my pottery studio, grow vegetables, and crochet, occasionally.
