Through the fog

Hello, I'm Laura Campbell, and I've just launched Lighthouse Seventeen.

Part 1: Coming home

For years, I worked in large-scale IT operations and big organisations, in environments where things had to run reliably, every day. It was demanding work, and I was good at it. Somewhere along the way, I realised the pace I was keeping wasn't one I wanted to keep forever.

So I made a choice: to come home to Scotland, and to build a life closer to the sea. Not because I was running from something, but because I was running toward something. Joy. Peace. Space to breathe. The kind of life where you can hear yourself think.

That choice changed how I see work, too. I still believe in doing things properly, in structure and reliability but I no longer believe those things need to come at the cost of calm. If anything, this is exactly what makes calm possible.

If this is the approach you are looking for, let’s connect!
